We are on week two of Show us where you live Friday over at Kelly's Korner. When I logged on last night I saw there were already close to 100 posts on her blog. This Home Tour idea has really taken off. Here's our living room:
Here's the view from our hallway and kitchen. The only thing that is missing is a big area rug to kind of tie the room together. I have been looking all around but I haven't been able to find one that I love yet. I love green so I just slip covered our love seat to match.
We were lucky enough the inherit our recliner couches from our in laws. I love this couch! I have a 12:00pm appointment for a daily nap here every afternoon. This couch is super comfortable to curl up on and my fluffy pillows and throw help me drift off to dream land :)

I am a big rusty star fan and these were given to us for our Wedding. The rustic sign below says the infamous: "live well, laugh often, love much." My Grandma got this for us for Christmas. I was thinking the other day that as a single woman you get Victoria's Secret and gift cards for Christmas from your family. Then when you're married you go from super girly fun presents to home-y decorative things for your home. Not that home decor isn't fun, it's actually my new obsession :)
I am a big fan of wrought iron anything! I knew I had to have these wrought iron candle sconces!
That's the end of the tour! Our home may not have some of the grandeur that some of the other homes have, but it's perfect for us and I wouldn't have it any other way!

And thanks for the comment on our rug. It is from plushrugs.com. Some of their rugs can be pricey, but a lot are very reasonable if you start combaring around the costs of area rugs. :)
